The total cost of the works amounts to more than 6.8 million euros including tax. The city of Nice contributed 2.4 million euros including tax, of which 175,000 euros were subsidies from the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes, while the cost for the delegate amounts to more than 4.4 million euros including tax.

The works involved:

  • Creating uncovered arenas with a total area of 1.4 hectares and a covered arena of 2,100m² with new generation flooring,
  • Construction and renovation of boxes,
  • Creation of shower areas for horses and tack rooms,
  • Creation of accommodations and premises including offices, classrooms, a clubhouse, a reception shop, etc.

Enthusiasts of this sport will be able to practice all equestrian activities under ideal conditions, whether for competition, training, or teaching.

This reference facility will enable the riding club to become the number one club in the PACA region.

Top-level equestrian sport is making a comeback in Nice! From March 1 to 4 and 8 to 11, the “Nice Spring Tour 2012,” an international 1 and 2-star show jumping event, will be held.
