The Saint-Roman medical center will open on July 16th in Bellet. It addresses a need felt by the residents.
The Deputy Mayor, Anthony Borrรฉ, doctors, and the neighborhood committee gathered on Wednesday, June 26th to inaugurate this medical facility, responding to the concerns of the hill residents.
It is this unused premises, not far from the Church at 712 Route de Bellet, where this health structure project will come to life on July 16th.
An observation: in villages, medical resources are scarce. Thus, the municipality of Nice decided to establish a medical center in Bellet that will address health in its entirety.
This was part of their commitment to eliminate medical deserts. Three other medical centers are planned in other districts.
Prevention, screening, fitness assessments, planned in the medical center
It will have the capacity to conduct prevention actions, vaccinations, diabetes screening, and hypertension checks. It will also handle fitness assessments and implement a “my therapist” program.
Doctors will also be able to provide home visits to meet the expectations of the hill residents.
In its comprehensive vision, the Bellet medical center aims to serve the residents and their health. It will be open four days a week. Appointments can be made on Doctolib and by phone.
