India is revealed in Nice and Sophia Antipolis

The Sophia Antipolis Foundation and the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DGCID: Sub-directorate for International Cooperation and Development), the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry (D.G.E.), and the Ministry of Research (Directorate for European, International Relations, and Cooperation) are organizing a French-Indian seminar on Innovation and Technology Transfer in Nice and Sophia Antipolis, from September 18 to 20, 2006.


inde-nice.jpg This seminar will bring together dignitaries from the Indian Ministry of Science and Technology, the University of Delhi, the Indian Institute of Technology Mumbai, the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore, the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, the Institute of Rural Technologies, the Pune Technology Park, representatives of SMEs, incubators, and research and development organizations along with their French counterparts.

These exchanges will help raise awareness about the innovation systems among different partners and connect key players of innovation from both countries to generate concrete partnerships, particularly between businesses.

This international event will feature various meetings, roundtables, and workshops focusing on major themes related to technology transfer โ€“ intellectual property, competitiveness clusters, etc. โ€“ especially in cutting-edge sectors such as renewable energies, water management, the environment, information and communication technologies, biotechnologies.
