Launch of the 2nd edition of the Innovative City Convention in Nice. An international exhibition organized over two days (June 18 and 19) with the aim of making cities smart and sustainable. Several conferences are scheduled with public and private sector specialists in new technologies.
[[Thinking]] about the cities of tomorrow to optimize costs and improve citizens’ comfort. A challenge launched during this convention that the various participants will try to address.
Multiple projects are emerging to integrate technology, smart sustainable architecture, and city enhancement. Public-private partnerships are one of the strengths highlighted to finance different projects. The smart city of the 21st century is moving towards a more social space, a place for sharing and collective projects where communication and cooperation among citizens will testify to the modernity of a city.
The objectives of this convention are clear. Allow companies to integrate an ecosystem in favor of market development. Find promising sectors in France and internationally. Convince territories of the usefulness of new urban technological projects. Also, inform cities on the practices to implement to manage and operate these urban technologies. Finally, the conference system set up over these two days will allow a plethora of participants to share their experiences in integrating smart systems into cities.
At the end of the first day of the convention, a prize-giving ceremony for the smartGrids France inter-cluster trophy was organized. The Presidents of the Competitiveness Clusters Capenergies and Secure Communicating Solutions (SCS) are behind this first national smart grids France competition.
