Interactive Concert: First Evening of “C’est pas classique” in Nice!

On Thursday, November 24, 2011, at 8 p.m., Mr. Eric Ciotti, President of the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes, will attend, as a prelude to the “Cโ€™est pas classique” 2011 festival, the first interactive concert of the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Philippe Auguin. During this event, he will offer his baton to two spectators, one attending the 8 p.m. concert and the other the 9:30 p.m. concert, who are the lucky winners of the “Cโ€™est pas classique” draw!

In an effort to continually innovate and make classical music accessible to everyone, “Cโ€™est pas classique” once again transforms masterpieces of the genre by organizing two interactive concerts in the most beautiful venue: the Nice Opera.

Philippe Auguin, a brilliant conductor who has led the most prestigious musical ensembles around the world, invites the lucky attendees of the evening to join him in wielding the baton in front of the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra and the audience.

To the tunes of Mozart, from the “A Little Night Music” to the “Turkish March,” this concert creates a true connection between artists and spectators, with classical music as the common link. An invitation to an original and lively musical journey!
