International General Aviation Exhibition in Cannes

Latest News

Cannes Airshow, the only general aviation show in France and Southern Europe, opens its doors from Thursday, June 7 to Saturday, June 9 at Cannes Mandelieu Airport. This year, the show holds special significance as it is dedicated to the centenary of aviation in the Alpes-Maritimes. Cannes Airshow is the essential annual meeting for professionals and aviation enthusiasts who come to discover the latest global novelties and industrial innovations at Cannes Mandelieu Airport.

This professional exhibition, also open to the general public, offers an in-depth look into an industry that is still not well-known, thanks to the presence of all its key players.

From ultralights to jets, including helicopters from all major global manufacturers (Dassault Aviation, Cessna, Embraer, etc.), visitors can view about a hundred displayed aircraft and all aeronautical equipment (products, accessories, services) from major industry brands (Bose, Lightspeed, Jeppesen, etc.).

A large “Occasions Space” provides aircraft and helicopter owners the opportunity to sell their vessels at the show and meet private buyers.

As a world premiere, there will be a presentation of a unique aircraft model that celebrates the perfect marriage between the automobile and the airplane: the Cirrus SR22T Porsche.

Conferences are also offered over the three days on various topics concerning general aviation: regulations, the future of aviation, travel, safety, etc. These will feature members of the General Aviation Manufacturers and Professionals Group (GIPAG) and participation from important partners like the French Aeronautical Federation (FFA) and the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association France (AOPA).

According to Thierry Pollet, Operations Director at Cannes Mandelieu Airport, “Cannes AirShow is a major event for the facility which allows the general public, especially local residents, to better understand the specifics and challenges of this essential industry.” For Didier Mary, Director of Adone Events and the Cannes AirShow, “With this 6th edition, the show has matured by continuing to cover all aspects of general aviation. The quality of the exhibitor line-up demonstrates this.”
