Next Sunday, Nice, with its vast blue sea, Promenade des Anglais, and surrounding hills, will be the vibrant stage for the 10th edition of the Nice Triathlon. A breathtaking race for extraordinary athletes.
At precisely 6:30 a.m., 2,500 participants (men and women) will dive in to start a 226 km course (3.8 km of swimming, 180 km of cycling, and a 42.195 km run covering the marathon distance).
The Nice event is the only one labeled “Ironman” in France, and 50 slots will be awarded for the Ironman in Hawaii, the pinnacle of global competition.
Last year, the competition was won by Frederik Van Lierde in 8h08m59s for the men and Mary Ellis in 9h12m54s in the women’s category.
