Hung on for 11 weeks at the top of the French charts in 1996, “Children,” with its worldwide success of 5 million copies sold, made the name Robert Miles famous.
Robert Miles (his real name was Roberto Concina, born in Switzerland but originally from Fagagna (Friuli in Italy) died at the age of 47, on May 9, in Ibiza, Spain, due to cancer.
His friend and producer Joe T. Vannelli confirmed the artist’s death on his Facebook account. “With him, a part of my life as a producer also goes away. I will miss his talent for finding incredible sounds and melodies.”
