Twinned with Nice since July 14, 1964, the very beautiful Italian city of Cuneo is currently reaching out to French students. As part of the cooperation between the Alpes-Maritimes region and the Piedmont region, 20 French university students are invited to Cuneo. The only requirement: to have the F.L.E., the French as a Foreign Language diploma. For three months, with 20 hours of classes per week, they will teach the language of Moliรจre to young Italians.
An Experience Rich in Encounters and Lessons
From October 1 to December 20, the interns will be fully supported by the Piedmontese region: accommodation, transportation, food, and stipends of 300 euros. In preparation, the Alliance Franรงaise offers three days of training and provides volunteers with the necessary teaching materials. A golden opportunity for young French people aiming for a career in the cultural or linguistic field, an experience rich in encounters and lessons.
At a time when Nice dreams of becoming the Mediterranean capital, the municipality has responded very favorably to this request. Veronica Vecchioni, the deputy mayor in charge of cross-border relations, assures Manuela Vico, the president of the Alliance Franรงaise of Cuneo, of her full support. The selections will take place in Nice, at the Massรฉna bookstore.
