@Djihad: I accuse: it is with this tweet that Christian Estrosi goes on the offensive. But who is the accused? This cryptic language hides the recipient of this accusation (in the purest style of Zola) who is not openly mentioned. Who could it be?
Then, the horizon clears: @It is a terrifying failure for the government, 1000 young people are reportedly affected by #jihadist indoctrination
Poor us! That François Hollande and his government are not in the good books of the Mayor of Nice, we have known well since May 6, 2012. But to imagine that they are responsible for the jihadism of some young French or dual nationals is not really an honor for Christian Estrosi, reduced, in fact, to the role of incendiary, whereas he is much more subtle than that in his political elaboration.
To these statements, which resemble a drop in the ocean, we much prefer the following: @We will create in #Nice06 a listening and action unit to address the deviations of #fundamentalism.
Philippe Vardon’s response was not long in coming:
In his “Jihad: I accuse,” Estrosi forgets his own responsibility. He has just made another thunderous statement by publishing an article on the internet titled “Jihad: I accuse.” In his article, Christian Estrosi places all the blame on the socialist government for the “French” departures to wage jihad in Iraq or Syria.”
According to him: “At the local level, the policy of collaboration with the UOIF has gradually brought many mosques in Nice under the control of the Islamist formation and has made it its preferred interlocutor, which is also not unrelated to the obvious radicalization of many Muslims residing in Nice. We will not fight Islamism by continuing these compromises.”
Yet the enemy is neither the government nor even Christian Estrosi…
