The Alpes-Maritimes Department is maintaining the schedule of its key cultural events for the summer, in compliance with health measures*.
Every Thursday, from July 16 to August 20 at 8 PM, the rooftop terrace of the Lympia Cultural Space transforms into an open-air jazz club for the greatest enjoyment of summer visitors. This is an opportunity to showcase 6 musical groups from the departmental jazz scene.
Bossa nova and its great composers will open this edition with the Nina Papa Quartet.
The audience will discover, one after the other, standards revisited with pop accents and Cuban colors, as well as the richness of local creativity through the compositions.
The program will conclude on a note of freedom and hope offered by the interpretation of the album “Esperanto!” by the Philippe Villa Trio.
