The signing took place during the Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie (CMF) in Monaco. The specifications were signed by the Administrator of the International Organization of La Francophonie, Mrs. Catherine Cano, and by the President of the National Committee of the Games of La Francophonie, His Excellency Mr. Pรฉpin Guillaume MANJOLO BUAKILA, Minister of State, Minister of Cooperation and Francophonie of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
This ceremony marks the official start of preparations for the 9th Games of La Francophonie, which will take place from July 23 to August 1, 2021, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in Kinshasa.
This 9th edition is under the theme of Solidarity, Diversity, and Excellence, aiming to be part of a development project and to strengthen national cohesion for the DRC.
