Our European battles
The Europe of our dreams is dead. The European Union is not Europe. The current Union is nothing more than a single market where people are subjected to the dictatorship of banks and finance. How do we stop this nightmare?
We must exit the current European treaties, which fuel social and fiscal dumping and force us to implement austerity policies that annihilate our states and their public investments. Our independence should no longer be sacrificed to the ideological obsessions of the European Commission, which prevent us from implementing progressive social policies.
This Union has devoured our social gains. It attacks our pensions and destroys our public services, which must constantly be commoditized, liberalized, and sold to the private sector. It enforces free trade against the people and nature. It pollutes our lives and our health. The oligarchy that governs it uses the straitjacket of European treaties to control the people. The Greek crisis has definitively shown the violently undemocratic nature and blind neoliberalism of the current institutions of the European Union.
Emmanuel Macron, the first child of the European Union, faithfully applies the same liberal recipes that have been implemented for 30 years. He continues the dishonest work of Nicolas Sarkozy, who signed the Lisbon treaty behind the backs of the French people. He unfalteringly applies the treaties that Hollande had promised to renegotiate. He willingly submits to the orders of the Commission, sometimes even going further than expected. We must say “Stop!”
2019 will be a referendum against Macron, against his Europe, that of money, austerity, of Merkel. But also a plebiscite for a real alternative.
The rebellious Europe is advancing. Our battles carry the human general interest, to avoid ecological catastrophe and for the sovereignty of the people. Let insubordination flourish in Europe. Let’s dare the happy days in Europe too!

1) Faced with the locking of the political game, let’s put the sovereignty of the people at the heart of Europe.
2) Faced with the austerity dictates of Brussels, let’s regain the freedom to invest in social and ecological progress.
3) Faced with the ban on public aid, let’s regain the freedom to organize our public services and common goods.
4) Faced with the Europe of war, let’s make the Europe of peace outside of NATO.
5) Faced with free trade, let’s plan ecological relocation through solidarity protectionism.
6) Faced with intensive farming and glyphosate, let’s choose peasant farming, organic and local.
7) Faced with animal extinction and the violence inflicted on them, let’s preserve biodiversity and combat mistreatment.
8) Faced with the impunity of multinationals, let’s remove the lobbies.
9) Faced with tax havens at the heart of Europe, let’s eradicate tax evasion.
10) Faced with social dumping, let’s abolish the directive on posted workers.
11) Faced with the carnage at our borders, let’s dignifiedly welcome exiles while combating the causes of migration.
12) Faced with xenophobia and threats to secularism, gender equality, or LGBT rights, let’s create the Europe of emancipation, secularism, and equality!
