La Gaude: Jazz under the Bigaradiers, 20 years and not a wrinkle

Latest News

From November 10 to 22, near the Coast, a “Jazz only” Festival celebrating its twentieth anniversary. For its twentieth year and as a sign of its popular success with international “stars” meeting the best of Azorean Jazz, Jazz under the Bigaradiers offers more than ten days of concerts.

International stars, such as saxophonist Géraldine Laurent, the AKPé Motion quartet, and the new quartet of percussionist Minino Garay, meet the best of national Jazz, with Anne Paceo Quartet or William Price King and Eric Sempé, and the most talented Azoreans including the Marco Vezzoso Quartet, Franck Taschini Quartet, Dies Goa Unit, or the Compagnie So What.

La Gaude is truly a land of events, and the “Jazz under the Bigaradiers” festival remains one of those rare moments where you can still indulge in the pleasure of “living together.”

Fresh and convivial, with the added bonus of the Jazz Trophies of the Côte d’Azur being awarded.

The best of international Jazz… meets the top of national Jazz… and the most talented musicians from the Côte d’Azur.

Yes, happiness really is under the bigaradiers!
