Sustainable development is a significant societal challenge. The week dedicated to it each year for the past 10 years involves an increasing number of participants.
The Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis and the city of Nice have undertaken several environmental initiatives in areas such as transport, parking, noise prevention, biodiversity, education, urban planning, and even in the design of an Agenda 21. These actions, when combined, will help prepare for the future and leave a viable world for future generations.
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Sustainable Development Week, the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis and the city of Nice are mobilizing to introduce the general public, in a fun and friendly way, to the concrete actions to adopt in order to preserve our environment and make a lasting transition to eco-responsible behavior.
On this occasion, Christian Estrosi will inaugurate the exhibition “Humanity in the Spotlight” organized by the association Inthestreet, winner of the 2nd Environment Trophies. This photography exhibition aims to highlight the work of the personnel in street cleaning, collection services, green spaces, and the green brigade of the Municipal Police and raise public awareness of eco-citizen actions.
