Launched in 2009 by the city of Nice, StarSeniorS is the must-attend event for seniors who wish to fully enjoy their retirement and pursue their dreams to the fullest.
Becoming national in 2010, StarSeniorS attracts more and more candidates every year. In 2012, 370 seniors over the age of 55 came from all over France to try their luck. It took five months of casting to select the 22 finalists who performed in Nice in November 2012 during the grand finale, in front of nearly 2500 spectators.
This Thursday, April 11, 2013, at 3 PM at the Nice Office of Tourism and Congresses, in the presence of Thierry Noll, Conductor of StarSeniorS, and Luis Saldivia Vega, Technical Advisor of Star Seniors, Director of the School of Popular Music and an internationally renowned instrumentalist, Christian Estrosi, mayor of Nice, will present the registration details and the dates of the preselections, attended by the Jury members and winners of the previous editions.
This year again, this singing contest will be a national event, allowing all the seniors in France to raise their voices in our city.
