This Monday, Eric Ciotti and Sacha Casadamont-Duval, President of the Hรฉliotrope association, will launch the 2019 Short Film Festival at the Mercury cinema.
The Short Film Festival is celebrated nationwide and aims to facilitate access to short films through meetings, image education workshops, Masterclasses, and screenings.
Each year, this event establishes an official program with the support of the Short Film Agency, allowing the viewing, selection, and distribution of copyright-free short film programs during this festive period. In the Alpes-Maritimes, the Hรฉliotrope association coordinates this action.
Thus, from March 13 to 19 at the Mercury cinema, several activities will be carried out:
– Daily screening of a short film before each feature film;
– Morning short film sessions for schoolchildren: primary, middle, and high schools;
- 2 evenings will be entirely dedicated to short films: Thursday, March 14 at 8:30 PM with the Hรฉliotrope association and Saturday, March 16 at 8:30 PM with the Amnesty International association.
