Having achieved a nice measure of recognition and interest during the launch of the Fantastique Semaine du Cinéma (an annual festival dedicated to fantasy films), Les Méduses, a very new association from Nice, is attempting to establish itself among the film enthusiast associations of the French Riviera by creating its own film club “CINENASTY” at the Mercury Cinema in Nice.
-Cinenasty, the new meeting place for film buffs on the French Riviera.
Taking inspiration from the Midnight Movies, this new film club in Nice offers a monthly double feature screening on Saturdays dedicated to genre cinema. The films are presented in original versions with subtitles as often as possible and in 35mm format.
To kick off the festivities, the programmers propose rediscovering films by great directors such as Joe Dante, Roman Polanski, Darren Aronofsky, Peter Jackson, Edgar Wright, James Signorelli, Tom Six, and many more.
All in a very festive and truly quirky atmosphere, with lively masters of ceremony providing unforgettable introductions.
