The Moulins district is undergoing a major urban renewal project until 2016, with the aim of: opening up the neighborhood, creating an East-West axis through it, redeveloping public spaces, diversifying and improving housing, developing services and facilities, promoting employment, strengthening the actions of associations, and revitalizing businesses.

A residence by the social housing provider Côte d’Azur Habitat will be constructed. The 2 buildings, each with 7 floors, will include, in addition to the 80 social housing units (ranging from one-bedroom to five-bedroom apartments), four shops on the ground floor, 92 parking spaces, and numerous gardens.

The total cost of this project, which is expected to be completed in the first half of 2014, amounts to over 17 million euros, including tax. The financing is shared between Côte d’Azur Habitat, the ANRU, the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, the city of Nice, and the General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes.

The completion of this real estate complex contributes to improving the living environment of the residents in this western neighborhood of the city of Nice, which will be completely transformed over the next four years.
