It is from its impeccable programming, intimate stage, privileged setting, and friendly atmosphere that the elements of its success were born. A well-deserved acclaim for this open-air concert venue which since last year has become a daily rendezvous. Open from Wednesday to Sunday for aperitifs and brunches, the Mas des Escaravatiers is the go-to address. An alternative to the exuberance of summer festivals, the Mas makes proximity its absolute value, not giving in on the grounds of simplicity.

The Mas is like that patch of garden that one claims for its authenticity. The artists come first. Listening to them, coming to the Mas is often tinged with impatience. Among those who have already performed under the olive trees, many left enchanted and didn’t hesitate to return. Among the dozen loyal artists, for 2012 we can expect the return of Izia, Revolver, Grace, Bumcello, Missill, and Elisa Do Brasil. Plus, the family is growing this year with the arrival of Paris Combo, Morgan Heritage, Groundation, The Shoes, Debout sur le Zinc, Le Peuple de Lโ€™herbe, Inna Modjaโ€ฆ

The icing on the cake, the Mas has prepared a surprise for this tenth edition, sparing no expense. On August 25th, the Puget Live Festival, organized by the Mas des Escaravatiers in collaboration with the town of Puget sur Argens, will dignifiedly close this 2012 season. Bibi Tanga, Yuri Buenaventura, Max Romeo, and Lee โ€œScratchโ€ Perry will be the headliners of a concert set to take place in a pine forest intended to accommodate 3,000 people. And because good news never comes alone, the Mas will open its doors on September weekends for brunch to everyone’s delight.

Looking back, no one imagined such success. It is a dream come true for the one who founded the Mas des Escaravatiers in hopes of rekindling a family spirit. As the first assessment unfolds, the result is undeniable, the Mas is a story that endures.
