A small slip-up in the organization of the security system that is so important to the mayor of Nice.
The director of the Nice Municipal Police has been removed from his position by a decision of the Administrative Court, following a complaint from the Police Officers’ Defense Union, which contested the legitimacy of the action.
But doesn’t the town hall know how to prepare an action in such a way as to make it unassailable? Yet, it shouldn’t be that complicated!
While awaiting the appeal, an interim director has been appointed. His name is Jean-Michel Truglio.
That said, Christophe Darmon is, at least temporarily, leaving his position and joining the Directorate of Proximity, Security, and Neighborhood Life.
In short, nothing serious because nothing will really change. In fact, Christophe Darmon has been shown out the door only to come back through the window, and he will continue to command through an intermediary.
