The Lenval Foundation organized in May 2011 for the third consecutive year an information campaign for taxpayers liable for the ISF (Wealth Tax).

Indeed, since 2008, the law allows these taxpayers to deduct 75% of the amount of their donations to a Foundation recognized as being of public utility from their tax.

Thus, taxpayers from the French Riviera liable for the ISF can, if they wish, extend their generosity to the sick children of the Cรดte dโ€™Azur through a Foundation that has been near them for 123 years.

Hence the theme: โ€œMy ISF for our children.โ€

This year, tax reform has postponed the deadline for ISF declarations and payments, initially scheduled for June 15, to September 30, 2011.

On this occasion, the potential impact of this reform on the funding of Foundations will be highlighted.

In 2011, all donations received under the ISF will contribute to financing the renovation of the new Youth House and the Young Health Hub.

The Youth House aims to freely and without an appointment welcome all young people in the Alpes-Maritimes department, aged 12 to 20, who feel the need to talk about their difficulties in a welcoming place specially designed for them.

It serves as the headquarters of a health network for adolescents at the departmental level.

The close partnership established between the Young Health Hub and the Youth House, the attendance at these facilities, the decision to integrate a part-time care unit, and the wish for a location right in the center of Nice led the Lenval Foundation to acquire new premises at 2 Raynardi Street, Nice.

The renovation work began on March 4, 2011, in the presence of Madame Marina Picasso.
