A few months after settling into its new premises on Rue Francis Gallo, the restaurant Lu Fran Calin is offering a new website. This freshly “unveiled” platform allows users to virtually explore the place and meet the team behind this must-visit spot for Niçoise cuisine, which has been located in the heart of Old Nice for 20 years.
Created by the agency Komunicom, the site offers numerous sections providing all the details about the new rooms of the establishment, the Fran Calin team both in the dining area and in the kitchen, as well as the Niçoise cooking classes offered by Chef Daniel Silvetti, who personally collaborated in the design of the new website.
“It’s the virtual image of our establishment and it was only natural for me to add my personal touch, even though I am much less comfortable with a mouse than with my usual cooking utensils. I’m happy with the result because the site reflects us and, especially, will be frequently updated now that I have learned how to manage it.” The chef will regularly provide updates on his establishment, particularly about the upcoming new menu expected to debut in June.
Other sections are currently being developed, such as the history of the establishment, which will celebrate its 20th anniversary this year and has experienced many significant moments: from various music festivals to Taste Days for visually impaired children, and even the launch of the much-missed Calendari nissart.
