The Winning Project
It is the connected medical device “SANTINA” that won the Isabelle Attali Prize, thereby winning the 2022-2023 edition of the Young Shoots Challenge.
With its range of eco-friendly underwear containing electrodes to relieve menstrual pain or pain related to endometriosis, SANTINA aims to be a genuine non-drug alternative. This project stood out due to its universal and “user-friendly” usage, as well as its associated mobile application that controls the electrical intensity.
The SANTINA team, coached by Alan FERBACH (Videtics), is composed of:
• Benjamin MARCK, a Master’s student in Commercial Engineering at IAE of Nice
• Zoé WOOLDRIDGE and Juliette DUNAND, Master’s students in Design Innovation at Besign School
• Elise POLES, a double major student in Mathematics and Computer Science, and Public Law at the University of Nice Côte d’Azur
SANTINA thus wins smartwatches, €1,500 in gift vouchers, an additional €1,500 if they start the company, 3 months of accommodation offered by CréACannes, and 6 months of pre-incubation offered by the Provence Côte d’Azur Incubator.
