Lunch by Chef Jacques Rolancy at the Antoine Lacassagne Center

Latest News

On Tuesday, Chef Jacques Rolancy will prepare a lunch for hospitalized patients in the kitchens of the Lacassagne Center.

This Tuesday noon, patients and staff of the cancer treatment center in Nice will be able to enjoy a menu established and prepared by the famous regional chef and 1996 Meilleur Ouvrier de France, Jacques Rolancy. Tomato tartare, cod slice, cheese, sour cherry marmalade, or crumble… A menu that will bring comfort during this particularly difficult period.

A renewed operation

This isn’t the first time such a meal has been organized this year. Last May, starred Chef Patrick Raingeard, Pastry Chef Vincent Delhomme, and Chef Jacques Rolancy, MOF, came together to prepare an exceptional lunch for the staff of the establishment. This initiative was set up to thank them for their work during this crisis period.

For this Tuesday’s meal, Jacques Rolancy proposed to renew the experience, but this time for hospitalized patients, allowing them to also enjoy the expertise of a chef.

A project realized by numerous actors

It is within a particularly complicated crisis context that the Head of the hotel department of the establishment had the idea to propose that a chef come to prepare a lunch in their kitchens. Angélique Alasta, founder of My perfect Link (a network connecting associations and volunteers) and a real support for Lacassagne, then helped bring the project to fruition.
