Do you want more information on a major event?

www.magvoyage.com is launching online to answer the multitude of questions a traveler might have before going to a city or region, whether for professional reasons or simply for vacation. Born from a collaboration between an Azurian structure and one of the European leaders in hotel reservation (www.planigo.com), this magazine intends to be an interactive guide allowing travelers to best prepare for their journeys.

Updated daily by a team of travel specialists, Magvoyage will offer, each day, a detailed descriptive sheet on a city, an event, or a celebration happening in the weeks to come, initially on French territory, with plans to expand to other European countries later (Italy, Spain, Germany, United Kingdom, etc.). A national press review will provide, in real-time, the latest headlines from the largest magazines and newspapers concerning the world of tourism and travel (TourMag, Le Monde, Le Figaro, Libรฉration, etc.).

Moreover, a user-friendly forum will allow everyone to share their opinions on an event, which will be posted online after validation by the Magvoyage team. Available in French, the webzine will be offered in English and then in Italian and Spanish during 2007.

“We wanted to design more than just a simple online tourist guide, which is why we will give all our users the opportunity to contribute, be it on the city sheets or those that present upcoming events through discussion forums open in each publication. Additionally, we will allow internet users to announce their events in our calendar because while the Cannes Festival or the next Rugby World Cup are must-see events, numerous other events in France are worth experiencing.” As it has been understood, Magvoyage is a true guide made for and by travelers who will enjoy sharing their impressions and comments on their stay or the event they attended.

The Magvoyage team, based in the Principality of Monaco, continues to refine its new concept and other innovations may emerge by 2007, such as the creation of a section allowing online travelers to open their own travel blog.

Ready, set… MagVoyage!
