March against cancer on Saturday in Nice

Latest News

On the occasion of Pink October, the international month for breast cancer screening, the city of Nice provides logistical support to the Departmental Committee of the League Against Cancer, which organizes, like every year, a symbolic Walk for Hope on Saturday, October 7, 2006.
Cancer is a public health issue, and screening is a matter of raising citizen awareness. Talking about it and not forgetting the existence of this disease can help save lives.

The message of this day will be: Screening, an appointment to take care of yourself. This walk will start from the Church of the Port at 3 PM and is expected to arrive around 5 PM at Place Pierre Gauthier (in front of the old prefecture). It will also be possible to join the walk at MAMAC.

The procession will be closed by the Cancer Info Bus of the General Council.

Walkers will be received by institutional and medical members who will conclude the day with speeches, and a friendship drink will be offered upon arrival.
