This alert concerns the Mercantour massif and more specifically the Isola-Tende sector.
The “avalanche” risk is raised to level 4 on a scale of 5. This event is expected to occur during the night of February 2 to 3, with heavy snowfall continuing until mid-morning.
The quantities of fresh snow expected by Friday morning are estimated to be 30/50 cm.
