Migrant camp in the Plaine du Var: “close the doors,” requests Philippe Vardon

Regional councilor of the National Rally, Philippe Vardon, spoke unequivocally: “A camp of illegal immigrants has been set up in the Plaine du Var. This is a new act of defiance by far-left activists who act with rare impunity and can only feel emboldened by the weakening of the offense of aiding illegal immigration in the government’s ‘asylum and immigration’ law.”

Echoing Eric Ciotti, who expressed himself similarly yesterday: “Our department is already heavily impacted by the arrival of migrants, and only one measure is necessary: the evacuation of this camp, followed by the deportation of migrants who entered our country illegally. We must not allow a mini-Calais jungle to form in Nice, and therefore urgent action is needed.”
