The 3rd edition of the Festival Eclairage Public allowed the 109 – Pôle de cultures contemporaines, to gather a wide audience of different ages and backgrounds by engaging residents, the driving forces of the site, along with invited producers.
Thanks to the exhibition of Ben, a true artistic and cultural catalyst and energizer, organized as part of the Biennale des arts “Nice 2019. L’Odyssée du Cinéma,” and to the theatrical, choreographic, musical, architectural, and sports offerings, more than 11,000 people shared this event over the course of 3 days.
This success is the result of a collective effort centered around La Station, l’Entre-Pont, the Cie Antipodes, the Botox[s] network, the Forum d’Urbanisme et d’Architecture, the Eva Vautier gallery, Il était un truc, the University of Nice Côte d’Azur, the Cie Oberdorff, Dime On Music, and urban culture actors like Whole Street, Accrobarz, and Nissart Skate, which 109 managed to unite.
