According to the figures posted online on Saturday evening by the DGS, 3,310 new positive diagnoses have been recorded, as well as 17 new clusters of grouped cases (“clusters”). The weekly positivity rate continues to rise, at 2.6%.
The number of Covid-19 patients in intensive care, which has remained roughly stable since the end of July, has slightly increased to 376 (+9 compared to the figures published on Friday).
France now has 30,409 people who have died from Covid-19 since the beginning of the epidemic, including 19,904 in hospitals, according to Santé Publique France.
