For their last pre-season match, OGC Nice won 3-2 against Stade Rennais.
At the Allianz Riviera, it was initially the Rennes team who opened the scoring through their new player Aguerd (30th minute).
Then, Nice equalized thanks to a penalty obtained by Atal and perfectly converted by Dolberg (43rd minute).
And a few moments later, following a poor clearance from Rennes’ fullback Boey, Khépren Thuram took advantage and scored with a chip over Romain Salin (45th minute).
At the start of the second half, Atal once again stood out by earning a second penalty.
Dolberg, with great composure, scored his second goal in the match.
Near the end of the match, Martin Terrier also scored a penalty for Rennes, but it was not enough for the Rennes side who were defeated on Nice’s home ground.
Next Sunday, Nice will start their league season with a home game against RC Lens (5 PM).
