MOTEUR! Contest: Make a film about a person who inspires you

Latest News

The City of Nice supports the MOTEUR! competition, whose 7th edition is taking place for the first time in Nice. This event invites young people to express their creativity by making a film about a person who inspires them.

This competition, created in 2015 by the association MOTEUR!, gives a voice to young people from diverse social, cultural, and territorial backgrounds to help them find their place in society. Thus, it is open to young people aged 14 to 22 years, regardless of their background, education, or audiovisual skills.

Who inspires you?

To participate, you need to make a 1-minute 30-second film honoring a person who inspires you. Whether it’s a public figure or a family member, it’s up to you to choose!

This theme allows young people to reflect on their role models and thus question their own values and commitments. The notion of exemplarity leads them to introspect about who they are and who they wish to become.

It’s your turn to play!

Once you find your subject, let your creativity run wild! You can create a mini-reportage, a fixed shot on the interviewed person, a montage of several videos, a short animation film….

As for the text, it could be a voiceover, a subtitled video, a slam…

The Grand Prize will be awarded by the Jury, chaired by Oxmo Puccino, to 25 winners, who will then be invited to the Cannes Festival, with a red carpet walk and a Claps d’or Moteur! award ceremony.

You have until the end of the month to participate! If you are interested, visit their website.
