Moto GP: Fabio Quartararo on the front row, Francesco Bagnaia on pole for the Dutch Grand Prix

Latest News

The French Yamaha rider once again secured his place on the front row on Saturday, June 25, for the Dutch Grand Prix. He was 116 hundredths behind Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), one of his rivals in the world championship. Jorge Martin (Ducati) completes the front row in third position. The qualifying session was more challenging for the other French rider, Johann Zarco, who will start 7th on the grid.

In the cathedral of speed at Assen, Bagnaia and Quartararo quickly put together fast laps to break the track records. And in this little game, the Italian quickly proved unbeatable (1’31″504) to claim his second pole position in as many races.

Under overcast and humid conditions, with a few drops of rain falling on some corners, Johann Zarco had more difficulty finding his rhythm. With the top 6 out of reach, the Ducati rider had to settle for the 7th fastest time. He will attempt to move up the rankings after the race start, which will take place on Sunday at 2 pm.
