At the intersection of stage art and the circus ring, nine young artists from the second class of the National Circus Arts School of Tunis express the impossible and the silence with their bodies. They convey the words of Tunisian poets in an intimate dialogue with space, language, and flesh.
Sarkha (cry) intertwines languages and fuses circus techniques. On stage and in the air, the young artists portray the complex and universal human condition. Laurence Levasseur, as conductor of a delicate score sprinkled with brilliance, gentleness, and violence, choreographs and stages what makes life so vibrant.
A visual, poetic, and musical cry from the other side of the Mediterranean.
