This Friday, at 5:30 PM, around thirty young people aged 18, selected from the 9 districts of the city, will be welcomed by the Mayor of Nice for the citizenship ceremony.
As every year, this citizenship ceremony, provided for in the electoral code, allows young people to receive their voter certificate accompanied by the citizen’s booklet presenting the main rights and duties of a citizen.
It is also an opportunity to recall the fundamental principles of the Republic and democracy.
