New developments at the Cannes Tourist Office

Latest News

Each year, the Cannes Tourist Office welcomes over 900,000 people (visitors and local population) to its offices and regularly adapts its services to improve the quality of its reception. It is now equipped with a new computer tool โ€œTourinsoftโ€ which allows for giving quality information to customers and promoting the destination in the best way possible.

On the eve of the summer season, whose visitor numbers are expected to be favorable, the Cannes Tourist Office is undergoing changes and acquiring new computer equipment to optimize reception, satisfy, and retain its audience.

A Little Revamp Before Summer

The Palais des Festivals et des Congrรจs de Cannes has recently completed renovations at the Tourist Office, the first showcase of the Cรดte d’Azur city, visited by numerous guests from around the world. All the walls of the reception, exhibition, children’s area, the shop, and the ticket office have been completely repainted, all the false ceiling panels replaced, and the ticket office flooring redone, amounting to over 285 square meters renovated.

Installation of a New Information Management System

The Office now has a new online tourist information system, used by many Regional and Departmental Tourist Boards (CRT and CDT). In addition to its user-friendliness and ease of use, it offers the convenience of centralizing and sharing information across the entire territory. Aimed at data consultation (hotel availability, service offerings, events, documentation, etc.), the software โ€œTourinsoft,โ€ provided by the web agency โ€œFaire Savoir,โ€ allows for managing customer queries at the reception desk, over the phone, or via email, with the goal to welcome and inform in a qualitative and timely manner. This new management/customer tool generates responses via email/forms that can be directly sent or forwarded to the visitor. The collected data is thus interfaced with those from various websites of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrรจs, interactive information points (touch kiosks), and other smartphone applications.
