The decision for this collaboration was made jointly between the manager of Alpha Park, Thierry Monnier, and the manager of La Colmiane Valdeblore site, Jean Christophe Desens.
The goal: to enhance communication between the two facilities. But also, to increase the number of visitors thanks to the preferential rates obtained when purchasing tickets for both parks.
This initiative is a first between the Alpha Wolf Park and that of La Colmiane, an initiative that is considered very good and very promising by the Valdeblore – La Colmiane Tourism Office.
The new rates developed are only for individual visitors, adult or child, and of course upon presentation of entry tickets for both parks. Groups, already having advantageous prices, 8โฌ for an adult group and 6โฌ for children at Alpha Park, are not concerned.
La Colmiane site, having numerous activities, the packages and prices are also very varied, but only the multi-activity package is concerned by this collaboration. This package includes summer tobogganing, a Colmiane forest trail (adventure course in the forest), and mini-golf.
For a multi-activity package purchased at La Colmiane, the entrance to Alpha Park will be 8โฌ instead of 10โฌ for an adult and 6โฌ instead of 8โฌ for a child. Conversely, an entrance purchased at Alpha Park allows for a multi-activity package at La Colmiane, 15โฌ instead of 20โฌ. This will surely please some nature lovers.
Alpha Park โThe Time of the Wolvesโ
Located near the Mercantour National Park, Alpha Park tells the story between wolves and humans. Visitors will get to know the different characters who have marked the life of the wolves such as shepherds, forest rangers, and ethnologists. The 3 wolf packs inhabiting the park can be observed in their natural environment. This park was designed with a unique purpose: to reconcile men with wolves, which are often wrongly considered to have a bad reputation.
โLa Colmiane Valdebloreโ Park
Located an hour from the Mediterranean coast, in the Mercantour, this park offers numerous activities both summer and winter. Climbing, hiking, mountain biking, summer tobogganing, mini golf are some of the activities to practice in the summer. For the winter, itโs more skiing, snowboarding, snowshoe hiking, etc. There will be something for everyone, for the calmest as well as for the most athletic.
