A newcomer appeared last week on the Azurean web scene, it is the new website of Nouvelles, the journalism school located in Nice.
Established in its Nice premises since 1990, Nouvelles journalism school is one of those institutions that trains the journalists who will staff the newspapers, TV, and radio of tomorrow. Recognized by the state since 1995, what was missing for Marie Boselli and her team was recognition online. That has now been achieved with www.nouvelles-info.com designed by Mediapole and Nice Première.
This is how you can know everything about the school without ever having dared to ask.
The ethos, the pedagogy, the future… These are the themes discussed on a site that aims to be the perfect reflection of the identity of this school whose reputation is already well-established.
We invite you therefore to take a virtual stroll through the classrooms while discovering the teachers such as Brigitte Rénaldi (Europe 1), Danièle Costantini (TF1), Gérard Clétil (Avenir Côte d’Azur), or Jean-François Roubaud (Nice-Matin).
But to find out why this new website was created, Nice Première met with the director of Nouvelles, Marie Boselli.

Marie Boselli: Because our old one was no longer suitable, we needed something young, interactive, efficient…
Nice Première: What are the new features of this site?
MB: It is still being fine-tuned, but it will include images, sounds, and student videos
The novelty is undoubtedly more interactivity, the ability to ask us questions…
Nice Première: And what’s new with Nouvelles?
MB: Nouvelles is doing well, thank you.
We are introducing two new courses: a specialization in sports and a specialization as a Reporter Image Journalist, both are very well suited to the job market, which is essential for us.
Nice Première: What do you think about the press on the web?
MB: Very highly, it is very suitable especially for a young audience, who uses their computer daily…
Older people still often need paper…
The problem with the press on the web is often that of a lack of seriousness or verification of information by some cyberjournalists of course you are not…
Nice Première: Your favorite sites or blogs?
MB: I am mainly on Google News
Nice Première: Do you have other projects online as well as within the school?
MB: Lots of projects, it’s teeming… You will of course be the first to know…
Nice Première: What is your view on the local media landscape (newspaper, radio, TV, and Web)?
MB: I work with all the media that treat intern journalists like future professionals, I have decided never to do it again with those who “exploit” my proteges… they know who they are…
Nice Première: And finally, what are your hopes for this new year?
MB: Professional success for my students, that’s the biggest reward for my team…
