Nice celebrates Europe on May 17 with free entertainment, workshops, and shows at Jardin Albert 1er. In the evening, the Eurovision final will be broadcast outdoors during a large festive evening.
This Saturday, May 17, 2025, the people of Nice are invited to participate in the fourth edition of the Nice Europe Day. From 11 AM to 7 PM, the Jardin Albert 1er will host activities, workshops, and shows for all ages. Starting at 6:30 PM, the Eurovision Party will take over with a live broadcast of the final of the European music competition.
The European festivities in Nice once again take place at the heart of the city. Last year, more than 15,000 people participated in the event. For this new edition, the organizers are focusing on a family-friendly and free program, built around European culture.
Throughout the day, the public can enjoy seven food trucks, join cooking workshops with Cuisine sur cours, or relax on outdoor deck chairs to savor the offered dishes.
Creative and cultural activities will complement this offering. Traditional games, origami, body painting, colorful braiding, pรฉtanque, Kapla, or even reading at the Bibโmobile: the activities are designed to be varied and accessible. A concert will also bring together the winners of the singing contest The Young Sing Europe.
The Europe Direct Center will offer games like EUNOC or an Euro-Bingo, to discover or test knowledge about the European Union. Two conferences on mobility in Europe, organized by the European Parliament, will provide more information on the Erasmus+, DiscoverEU, or European Solidarity Corps programs.
Three schools โ in Nice, Monaco, and San Remo โ will also be honored for their educational project Pelagos Aventura!, a board game about protecting marine species. They will receive the UNESCO Blue School Diploma.
The Eurovision contest live
Starting at 6:30 PM, Jardin Albert 1er will transform into a large musical stage. For the second year, Nice will host the only public broadcast of the Eurovision final in France. On the giant screen of the Thรฉรขtre de Verdure, the audience can follow the competition and vote for their favorite contestant.
The evening will be hosted by artists Ginger Bitch, Lady Miss Tik, and opera singer Prune Guillaumon. The duo Madame Monsieur, known for their song Mercy at Eurovision 2018, will also be present.
