On Friday, May 27, at 8:45 PM, a charity recital will take place at the Espace Associations (12 ter Place Garibaldi). It will be performed by Soprano Sophie Monaco, accompanied by Stéphane Eliot on the instrument. You will hear pieces by Debussy, Gluck, Handel, Ravel, Strauss, Vivaldi, and more. The proceeds from this concert will be donated to the A.A.F.E.R.M. association.
A.A.F.E.R.M.’s purpose is to financially sponsor project leaders in the field of renewable energies and thereby contribute to reducing the effects of climate change by offsetting the carbon impact associated with human activities. Thus, it significantly promotes the preservation of the world’s environmental heritage for current and future generations.
In partnership with the Enfance en Péril association, A.A.F.E.R.M. has launched a project aimed at bridging the digital divide by introducing computer skills and providing internet access to the most vulnerable populations in suburban areas.
In Burkina Faso, another project aims to provide portable and rechargeable solar lamps for schoolchildren and their families in rural areas of the country without access to the electrical grid.
