Nice: consultation for the change of tram line 1

Latest News

A new development is about to take place in the metropolis: the change to tram line 1. The residents of Nice are invited to participate in this new project as they are encouraged to share their opinions on the matter.

It is one of the most important aspects of the rehabilitation project of Boulevard Gambetta in Nice (Alpes-Maritimes). It is expected to complement, and even alleviate, tram line 1. The bus service appears to be of high quality, which the residents have been eagerly awaiting, and is therefore being examined by the people of Nice since Wednesday, September 29, 2021.

The city of Nice is offering a platform for exchange and discussion on the subject; a QR code is available on the metropolis’s website so that each resident can provide their input.

According to the statement from the city of Nice, this bus will “connect strategic areas of the city in less than 30 minutes, with a frequency of eight minutes between each bus and a capacity of transporting 16,000 passengers per day.” The areas affected by this change primarily include St Sylvestre, Cessole, Gambetta, and the city center.
