The section “Major Projects” allows you to directly follow the progress of significant projects in Nice, while the section “The Works” announces current and future construction sites in the city. At the bottom of the homepage, logos provide direct access to certain major themes such as disability, seniors, youth, community life, Nice’s interactive map, media access, and the sports portal.
The New Municipal Web TV
Thanks to video on demand, residents of Nice can follow all the news about their city, their mayor Christian Estrosi, and the Municipal Council through video reports. From the first page, 50 videos are available across 5 categories: Municipality, Local Life, Culture, Sports, and Miscellaneous. Based on modern architecture, a Flex module displaying videos in H.264 allows for viewing videos without reloading the page, and in higher quality and larger size!
With the sports portal launched just under two months ago, the Azurean student portal, and Scolaweb (a test site) expected to launch in a few weeks to offer Nice’s nursery and primary schools a real interactive newspaper to cover school news, the city of Nice is undergoing a digital revolution and other projects are being developed by the web team of the Communication Directorate of the city of Nice.
