During the important trade show, Rendez-vous en France, organized by Atout France and taking place for the first time in Nice, over 850 tour operators from around the world will meet 650 exhibitors representing the entire French tourism offering, on March 30 and 31, bringing together more than 1,500 professionals.

The Tourist Office and Convention Bureau, a partner of Atout France and the CRT Riviera Côte d’Azur, has made sure to offer them a particularly warm welcome. The discovery tour of the city is a crucial step towards better programing Nice and its region with these subscribers to inspire interest and desire among tourists to visit Nice.

Ahead of the show, the Tourist Office is hosting, from March 26 to 29, in coordination with the CRT Riviera Côte d’Azur, important delegations of foreign tour operators. One from Southeast Asia, Brazil, and Australia will receive a VIP welcome with the theme “Exclusive Côte d’Azur.” Another from Russia and Ukraine will enjoy a special program themed “Year of France-Russia.”

Finally, groups from North America, Singapore, and Korea on one hand, and from the Benelux, Germany, and Great Britain on the other, will participate in the “Art de Vivre & City Break” welcomes. The program includes a guided tour of Old Nice, the Matisse Museum, the Gardens of Cimiez, the Observatory; gastronomic dinners, wine tastings in Bellet on the hills of Nice, workshops around local products, a boat trip on the coast, and shopping as the main activities of their days.

These special operations are carried out with the support of local hoteliers who are participating in the event by offering accommodations.

Two press welcomes are also planned; one will gather about ten representatives of the national economic-tourism press and will take place on the 30th, followed by another the next day with around forty representatives of the international leisure professional press coming from Europe as well as from Russia, China, Korea, Thailand, Japan…
