The Fรชte de la Musique on the evening of a summer just beginning is the only time of the year when anyone can sing or play an instrument, find a stage, and an audience…
Launched in 1982 by Maurice Fleuret, then Director of Music at the Ministry of Culture, this event has become European and gradually worldwide, and interestingly enough, it hasn’t suffered from becoming an institution.
So the idea has taken root and that’s great because we’re talking about a sense of community, and yet it’s often… everyone on their own!!!
That won’t be the case Monday evening, starting at 6:30 PM, in the Gardens of the Russian Orthodox Church of the Imperial Park, where 400 people are expected at the Fรชte de la Musique, organized jointly by the Collines Proximity Pole, with Olivier Bettati, deputy mayor as the delegate, and two associations, the Italians from the Comites and the Orthodox Cultural Association of Nice.
This shows that globalization can also be a local affair!
Artistic performances are also on the program, and we particularly highlight the musical show of the Tarantella (music and dance of Southern Italy) with the Turin group, La Paranza del Geco: Southern music and a group from Turin? Yes, you read that correctly. You may not know that Turin is the most southern city in Italy.
Gastronomic product stands will also be available to satisfy the taste requirements of the lucky ones attending this popular event, which promises to be auspicious.
