Nice Municipal Elections 2014: The Left Front Presents its Running Mates

As the municipal elections are gradually approaching, candidates continue to make headlines regularly. After presenting his program last week, Robert Injey, municipal councilor and candidate for the Left Front, has introduced his list.

Robert Injey, head of the list for “Nice, People First” (Left Front), reiterated the two main objectives of his program: firstly, “Restore power to the citizens” and “Allow the residents of Nice to live in Nice.” Following the presentation of his program last week, the candidate revealed the names of his running mates.

Jacques Victor, general councilor for the Riquier and St Roch districts, stated that “this list reflects their image,” meaning “representative of social realities.” Robert Injey added that he was pleased with this list, which proposes an average age of under 49, and praised this renewal. He also highlighted the party’s intention to “expand into the associative movement.”

Here is the list of the first 15 running mates for the “Nice, People First” list:

2. Roseline Grac, 62 years old, Notre Dame district, occupational psychologist, association activist.
3. Arthur Leduc, 30 years old, Gambetta district, teacher, union activist.
4. Delphine Girard, 42 years old, Ray district, nurse at the Nice CHU, union activist.
5. Jacques Victor, 68 years old, general councilor of the Riquier and St Roch districts.
6. Radija Boukhlafa, 52 years old, Cessole district, secretary, association activist.
7. Najim Abdelkader, 33 years old, Ariane district, railway worker, personnel representative at SNCF, union activist.
8. Eve Galliano, 52 years old, Nice North district, employee in a small company, association activist.
9. Bruno Della Sudda, 58 years old, Caucade district, teacher, municipal councilor of Nice from 2001 to 2008.
10. Marie Marchitelli, 43 years old, Pasteur district, administrative assistant, union activist for Nice Cรดte d’Azur Metropolis.
11. Yannick Arhan, 51 years old, musicians’ district, postal worker, union activist.
12. Amandine Actis, 36 years old, St Roch district, banking advisor, union activist.
13. Lakdar Kaci, 57 years old, Moulins district, skilled worker.
14. Elisabeth Lemaire, 47 years old, Valrose district, CNRS researcher (Physics), trade unionist.
15. Franck Gaye, 52 years old, Vallons des Fleurs district, teacher, union and association activist.
