Considering parenting in the professional environment
The main mission of this association is to encourage companies and local authorities to consider the issue of parenting within their organizations, to sign the Parenting Charter and to improve the possibilities for balancing professional and personal life.

Launched at the National Assembly in 2008 with 300 business leaders and Human Resources Directors, the OPE has formed partnerships with major public life stakeholders in France. To date, more than 209 employers have already signed this charter โ€“ affecting 2 million French employees.

By signing this charter, Nice commits to continuing its actions in support of parenting. This partnership with the OPE is part of the city’s ongoing policy in favor of municipal employees (birth vouchers, marriage, adoption, back to school, retirement, vacations, language stays, sports clubs, Christmas tree, ticketingโ€ฆ).
