On Tuesday, April 21, 2009, the President of the Republic made a visit to Nice (Alpes-Maritimes) focusing on the theme of combating insecurity and violence.
The head of state was accompanied by Mrs. Michèle ALLIOT-MARIE, Minister of the Interior, Overseas Territories and Territorial Collectivities, Mrs. Rachida DATI, Minister of Justice, and Mr. Eric WOERTH, Minister of the Budget, Public Accounts, and Civil Service.
In the morning, he visited the Moulins Police Station, presenting the efforts of law enforcement in combating drug trafficking. He then went to the Acropolis Convention Center for a round table discussion on the theme of combating insecurity and violence at the Acropolis Convention Center.
