After the departure of Sorensen and the loans of Dolberg and Bambu, OGC Nice is expected to announce a new departure in the coming days.
Announced as a player with potential upon his arrival in Nice in 2020, Lucas Da Cunha never managed to establish himself within the azure club. Since the start of the 2022/23 season, he has been completely out of the board’s plans and is no longer even called up to the first team.
Impressive during his loan at Clermont in the second half of last season, the 21-year-old attacking midfielder could have left the Côte d’Azur in the final hours of the summer transfer window to join Lorient. Ultimately, he is expected to leave the Gym permanently this winter to join Italy. He is headed to Como, currently 15th in Serie B.
