While awaiting the outcome of the match between Vannes and FC Metz, which will determine the other semi-finalist, Nice will have to overcome Le Havre. Even though the game seems easy on paper given the standings of the Normandy team and their last result, one must still be very cautious against a team that has nothing to lose on Nice’s turf. However, Jamel Aït Ben Idir and Florian Marange, who were sent off on Saturday night during Le Havre – Toulouse, will be automatically suspended for this quarter-final.
On the Nice side, Loïc Rémy is back on his feet, as are Kanté and Diakité, who could rejoin the group. To keep the Nice goal, Lionel Letizi should be in the front line since David Ospina will now be Frédéric Antonetti’s first choice in the league.
The island coach should therefore count on a full squad for the reception of Le Havre and will thus have plenty of options to compose his starting eleven.
KICKOFF
Didier Volpatti, a former player of OGC Nice, will kick off the match, taking the opportunity to support a cause close to his heart.
He will be accompanied by Baptiste, aged 2 and a half, who is suffering from metachromatic leukodystrophy, an incurable disease.
